Are you tired of repeatedly typing out the same email addresses, street addresses, and names within your projects? Wish there was a smarter way to streamline your workflow?

Say hello to Smart Text.

Smart Text is designed to make your life easier by enabling you to swiftly set and reuse frequently used text elements. Whether you’re working solo or collaborating in teams, this feature empowers you to create and customize your designs with the greatest efficiency.

What sets Smart Text apart is its versatility. You have the freedom to create Smart Text at both the Team and User levels, allowing for tailored experiences:

  • Team /Brand Smart Text: Ideal for shared information like venue locations, this feature can be accessed and utilized by all members within a team. Say goodbye to the hassle of searching for crucial data every time you design a new project.
  • User Smart Text: This level is user-specific, making it perfect for personal details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and more. You’ll have your most-used information at your fingertips, ready to complete fields in templates seamlessly.

How to Create Smart Text in your Templates

There are two parts to ensuring that Smart Text works in your Designs:

  • Ensuring that the Smart Text fields have data to pull from; both for Brand/Team text, and User Smart Text, and
  • Creating Smart Text Placeholders within your Designs.

We recommend working in that order, so let’s start with creating the Smart Text Fields.

How to create new Brand Smart Text for your Team

You must have Brand Manager role applied to your account in order to manage items within your team’s Brand Kit, which includes Smart Text.

This level of Smart Text is best used for teams with multiple sub-teams and varying brand kits. For example, companies with different divisions and require a separate set of phone numbers, social handles and location data that will be used across multiple team members. Setting the text at the Brand level ensures each user has the same information, and if is required to be updated it can be done once, for all users.

  1. Navigate to the Brand Kit, and then Smart Text.
  2. Click the + Add Smart Text button at the top right.
  3. In the modal that appears, you will need to enter two parts of data for each new field:
    • Smart Text ID: This is the label for the field. Ensure it describes exactly what the field will contain, with keywords, so that it’s easy to find when designing. eg Store-Phone, Store-Email. The ID cannot contain spaces.
    • Smart Text Content: Enter the placeholder content that you would like to appear when this field is added to a design. You can add spaces and punctuation to this field.

How to create new User Smart Text

User Smart Text is managed in the My Uploads tab, in your Workspace.

It is automatically pre-filled with 2 settings that are created from your signup data; user.name and user.email. Both of these fields can be overidden with new text by clicking the blue buttons to the right of those fields.

To add new custom User Smart Text fields:

  • Click the + Add Smart Text button at the top right.
  • The modal for User text is slightly different to Brand Text, in that each Smart Text ID automatically starts with a user. prefix to clearly identify that the content for these will populate from a user level. Add your text to the two fields:
    • Smart Text ID: This is the label for the field. Ensure it describes exactly what the field will contain, with keywords, so that it’s easy to find when designing. eg user.cell, user.instagram, user.title.
    • Smart Text Content: Enter the placeholder content that you would like to populate when this field is added to a design. You can add spaces and punctuation to this field.

It’s important to note that if you are creating new user Smart Fields to go into Team templates, that you’ll need to advise all your team-mates to create the data in their own accounts that matches the Smart Text ID identically. Further enhancements are coming to the tool to make this easier, along with bulk editing options for our Enterprise users.

Once you have Brand and User level text fields setup, you can maximise automation of your design data by combining both levels of text fields within your design.

Creating Smart Text Placeholders within your Designs

Once you have your Smart IDs setup, you can begin placing your placeholder fields in any designs.

  1. On your design page, highlight the text within a standard text box that you’d like to replace.
  2. Click the { (left curly bracket key)
  3. Any available input fields are listed, and you can click to add the placeholder directly to your design.

You can also add them in via the Quick Input tab:

  1. Navigate to the Layers & Inputs tab in the right sidebar and then ‘Quick Input’.
  2. Each standard text box in your design will be listed here. You can manage these with various functionality – read more about Input Mode here for changing titles, re-arranging order, and locking. The manner in which you set these up will be reflected in designs when you convert them into team templates, or share with them.
  3. Click into the relevant field, and type {
  4. Your list of available input fields will appear, and you can select any to create a placeholder.

Smart Text and Text Formatting Tips

There are some considerations with using these new tools for auto-populating templates.

  1. Smart Text IDs must match identically between your placeholders, and the data in each users account.
  2. Rich text, eg adding different fonts, font sizes, lists and other formatting to a text box is not retained if the content of the box is updated via input mode. However, it is retained if it’s auto-populated.
  3. You can set rich text for auto-population via Smart text by adding the content, and styling it on your design page. Then, go to the Input tab, and ‘Lock’ it (via the ellipsis menu). Ensure you have created the text box with enough space to fit any longer data that may populate it by other users with longer names, longer emails, etc.
  4. If you’re unsure about lengths of data that could populate into boxes, do not apply restrictions to the sizing of the text box via Text Boundary.

Converting a Design to a Team Template

After you’ve applied your Smart Fields to a Design, you can convert it to a Team Template and it will retain the settings applied to each user that makes a copy of the design, and auto populating with their content, so long as the data is set up in their account.

We recommend communicating a list of fields setup and encouraging them to ‘copy’ the text IDs, to ensure they are 100% identical. Once they have the data within their ‘My Uploads’ Smart Text section, it will auto-populate within any template that they open with these fields.

Struggling to come up with ideas for your social media content? Use our August Content Calendar Ideas to plan your month’s content ahead of time together with our ready-to-use template ideas.

We bring you regular monthly content calendar posts on our Easil blog. All the holiday dates have been checked and double-checked to make it easier for you.

You’ll find this August Content Calendar post jam-packed with ideas and templates for daily, weekly and monthly holiday celebrations. We have also included great hashtags to use. We review these posts annually, so you are good to go.

Bonus: Many of the images we suggest are Easil templates. This means that you can click through to your Easil account and start designing straight away! It’s very easy to set up a trial account and get started for free if you don’t have an account yet.

Here’s what we have included in our August Content Calendar:

  • We have given you a reason to celebrate for every day in August. Choose the holiday that works the best for your business. Convert the idea into your own personalized content.
  • We’ve also included “Weird and Unusual” Holidays to tickle your creative juices. These holidays can make fun, engaging posts if you can relate it to your business.
  • Week-long holiday celebration suggestions for August.
  • Month-long holiday celebration suggestions for August.

You are ready to get started with our August Content Calendar, whether it is National Watermelon Day, Weather Complaint Day or Waffle Day. We have also included popular days like International Cat Day, and International Youth Day to give your audience timely reminders about.

TIPS FOR USING OUR AUGUST CONTENT CALENDAR IDEAS

Read on to get our top tips and trick to get the best results from your August Content Calendar:

  • Start by choosing the days or celebrations to work with your business and your audience. Think about what your ideal customer might find interesting outside of your usual content categories. They might love food but may also care for the environment and need to de-stress! Just because they like hearing about your cooking tips and restaurant guides doesn’t mean they don’t also love dogs or being inspired. The unique and unusual holidays we’ve included in our August Content Calendar is just a catalyst to get creative. These types of posts show your human side. Think like a social media user rather than a marketer. Put yourself in your customer’s shoes and you will create more engaging posts.
  • There are loads of ideas, but the list is by no means exhaustive. The August Content Calendar is just your starting point. You can do your own research and add other holidays that work better for you.
  • Make sure that you double-check the entries. Team Easil spends hours researching, checking and rechecking these posts, but you should always check the holidays for yourself as dates may change, especially annually.
  • Include regional holidays. Most of these holidays are national and international, but talking about local events is a great way to build community.
  • Not all the holidays take place on the same day each year. For example, many celebrations take place on the 1st Saturday of August so the actual date will change year to year. If you spot an error please let us know so that we can fix it. We plan to update these posts annually with new dates for next year.
  • We don’t include all countries. Easil is based in Australia but the holidays in our August Content Calendar are from around the world and many in the United States. Your country may celebrate the same holiday on a different day.

Remember: You can use Easil to create images for your social media content. There are images and templates here in this August Content Calendar to get you going.

ADDING IMAGES TO YOUR AUGUST SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

You can use our August Content Calendar in a few ways. You can start with an Easil template to edit and personalize it for your brand. Or, you can use your own images or assets to create something unique. How you illustrate the day is up to you. We are only giving you some suggestions to get you going.

HOT TIP: Why not post a quote that relates to the day in question? For example, National Book Lovers Day on the 9th of August is good day for literary quotes.

AUGUST CALENDAR CONTENT IDEAS

So, are you ready? Here’s our list of holidays for the month of August in date order:

1st AUGUST

WORLD WIDE WEB DAY

Can you image a world without websites? Thirty years ago, Tim Berners-Lee working for CERN, the world’s largest physics laboratory had an idea. “Suppose all the information stored on computers everywhere were linked. Suppose I could program my computer to create a space in which everything could be linked to everything.”

Not everyone understood his vision. It took a further couple of years before the first web servers outside CERN were switched on. Early adopters were universities or laboratories. In 1993 CERN made the World Wide Web available on a royalty-free basis.

About a decade later most of the social media platforms that we use today were starting. The 1st of August is the day to celebrate the amazing invention of the World Wide Web. Easil couldn’t have existed without it!

WORLD LUNG CANCER DAY

Lung cancer is the most common of cancers worldwide. 80% of lung cancer deaths are caused by smoking, but environment and genetics also play a role. This holiday is about commemorating and supporting people with lung cancer. It’s also to make people aware of the risks and early detection. Franchise businesses heavily rely on their local or neighborhood market for a substantial chunk of their customer base, so community engagement through tailored offerings is no longer just a good idea—it’s a marketing imperative. However, for Franchisors, this comes with its own set of challenges. Customizing local content and marketing materials for the high number of units they manage can be an overwhelming task.

If you’re a Franchisee, you’ve likely felt the frustration. Picture this: you have a golden opportunity to create a local area marketing campaign, but the Franchisors Art Department is swamped with design requests, leaving you in a weeks-long backlog. You could turn to an external design agency, but the process of gathering assets, guidelines, and briefing them is a time-consuming ordeal. Not to mention, the budget concerns of starting the project from scratch are always looming.

On the flip side, the Graphic Design team at the Franchisor operates in a perpetual whirlwind of activity. They are taking care of not only local area marketing requests, but overall brand creative requirements and corporate campaign executions. The workload is intense, as the fluctuations in local store requests can vary significantly not just from week to week, but often from day to day.

This is a common problem in larger groups and organizations, but franchises are particularly susceptible to frustrations with the local area marketing process. Franchisees are running their own business investment, and bottlenecks are potentially causing a reduction in traffic to their stores, and ultimately, also their revenue.

WHAT CAUSES A BOTTLENECK WITH FRANCHISOR MARKETING & ART DEPARTMENTS?

By the time a business starts the franchising journey, they’ve invested a ton of time and money into building its brand. Their visual brand, their brand tone of voice, customer service standards and expectations, store layouts and fit-outs, as well as packaging all require a consistent standard from each unit.

Understandably, they’re protective of their investment. The last thing they want to see is deviations from the brand they’ve been putting all their energies into developing. And often, the reason a Franchisee buys into that company is largely to do with the Brand. All those experiences add up to a successful business and a growing favorable perception in the marketplace.

So back to the bottleneck. On one level, the Marketing and Design teams work on the over-arching branding and campaigns required at the Franchisor National (and International) level. These types of campaigns can feed to local store activities too. Once these campaigns move out into local area marketing initiatives, more people become involved. More changes, more revisions, and more approvals all add up to – more time, and that of course equals a greater cost.

At the local level, Franchisees can feel they’re missing opportunities with marketing and growth due to timeframes associated with requesting materials from internal departments. And in an effort to make things move faster, they source materials from external suppliers or even scrap together assets into a design themselves. This is where things go wrong, and brand standards begin to slip.

WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS FOR KEEPING BOTH SIDES HAPPY?

Creatives (eg Graphic Designers) enjoy being creative. For the most part, they thrive on utilizing their skills to create new campaigns and solve design and business challenges. Making changes, sending proofs, and repeating the same artwork over and over is tedious, and often not the top of a designer’s wish list of things to be working on day in day out.

The solution to this is for the Graphic Designer in Franchisor/Brand Marketing to create once, and allow the Franchisees access to these templated files, with selected editing and Brand Restrictions enabled, and optional Approval Workflows.

Following solid experience working with many Franchises of all sizes, the team at Easil has developed a robust suite of tools that enable both sides – the Franchisee and the Franchisor, flexibility in producing LAM materials quickly and always on-brand. These tools include:

  • Brand Kit: Not only a place to store the brand logos, font, and colors but also the foundation for allowing Franchisees to make amendments to templates. The Brand Kit also works as a Digital Asset Management system for storing and filing images and short-form video content to be distributed to your teams.
  • Brand Design Templates: Create master document templates that can be shared with the whole company, whilst retaining the original in-tact. Each time a Franchisee clicks on a template, it creates their own copy in their Workspace, that they can edit within your set guidelines.
  • Locking & Restrictions: Fine-grained locking and restrictions settings allow you to control as little or as much as you like within each document. No programming required! These controls are available for both image and video templates.
  • Input Mode: A quick and easy field input tool for users editing templates to update text on the templates to their local content.
  • Smart Text: Complete regularly updated content at a local level, such as store location, phone number, email address, social handles – automatically. Create any custom Smart Text field that requires variable data to populate at the Franchise level.
  • Approvals Workflow: Opt-in Team templates at the Document level, to ensure any graphics or videos that require Approval from Brand Managers are submitted for Approval via Easil.
  • Easil Enterprise Brand Portals: We understand that creating marketing materials does not stop, and sometimes you’ll need assistance with overflow design work (such as creating more bespoke templates for your team or campaign creative development), print fulfilment, mail-drop services, and more. Our additional Easil Enterprise Portal software is available for teams to take advantage of agreed print pricing, dedicated Account Managers with Visual Marketing experience, Budget Management and Credit Allocation for stores, and a full overview of work in progress and spending for your Franchise Brand.

CREATING A WORKFLOW FOR SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS AND LOCAL AREA FRANCHISE MARKETING

The first step to creating templates and a system for Local Area Marketing is to evaluate the local marketing opportunities. Frequently, what is required for a Franchisee in one area is likely to be repeated in other locations. And within an established Franchise Brand, there will be records of previous promotion requests, along with the results gained from these activities.

Creating an audit of these heavily requested and successful promotions, along with surveying Franchisees will assist in creating a priority of templates that need to be created. The goal of the templates will be to move the most frequently requested artwork requests first, into an application that can free up the Design Team’s time.

We recommend utilizing robust project management software like ClickUp or Asana to compile the list of assets to be created, along with a screenshot or PDFs of the files within the task. With this type of tool, you’ll be able to begin the process of analyzing the creative templates required first and how they’ll be created.

  1. Will your in-house art department build editable templates for the Franchisees to edit?
  2. Are you looking to outsource the creation of the templates, for example to Easil’s Design Studio, to free up time from the in-house team, and get things up to speed most efficiently?
  3. Or will you look to move the work to a freelance designer?

Each of these options will work with assigning the relevant team to your project management tool, moving through the process of creating relevant templates, applying locking and restrictions and optional approval workflow, and then making them available for your Franchisees to access.

1. CREATE DESIGN TEMPLATES FOR YOUR FRANCHISE MARKETING

Creating a design template that your Franchisees can utilise is almost identical in process to creating your own drag-and-drop designs in Easil. With the help of your Brand Kit setup (adding your brand colors, fonts, logos, photos, and short-form videos), you can build your designs by either starting with Easil templates and modifying them to suit your brand, or you can build your templates from scratch from a blank template.

2. SET UP INPUT FIELDS AND SMART TEXT

To make your templates ultra easy for your Franchise Partners to edit, we highly recommend setting up fields with ‘Input Mode’. This feature allows users to quickly tab through and enter content into text fields that are editable, using a side-panel text field input layout.

Editing on the design canvas is still available, but this method allows you to label the fields for the content to be added, and also makes it very clear (at a glance), which content can be edited. Designer role is also required for this component of Template building.

Learn More about Smart Fields and Quick Input Mode in our comprehensive articles, or reach out to our team for a demonstration.

3. APPLY LOCKING & RESTRICTIONS TO YOUR TEMPLATES

Once you’ve completed your design and any resizes that form part of the collection, you can choose to add locking and restrictions in a fine-grained manner to each element, as well as document level restrictions. The click to lock system in Easil is designed to empower any Designer or Marketer within the team to implement controls over the end-user output, without the need for a developer.

To get started with applying Locking and Restrictions, you’ll need to have Designer role enabled on your profile.

With your completed layout open, you can access the tools in the right sidebar in the Locking tab. Click on any element to begin applying restrictions, choosing from the list of options. Generally, locking all permissions and then deselecting options that will be required for editing is the faster option.

Learn more about locking and restrictions in this article.

4. SET APPROVAL WORKFLOWS TO TEAM TEMPLATES

If your designs require a high level of compliance, or perhaps you’re wanting to monitor your team’s quality of design output during a training period – you can implement an Approval Workflow on a template by template opt-in basis.

This option allows team members to access templates, complete their changes and then submit back to the Brand Managers to check over the design. Brand Managers then return it to them with either an Approval (and access to download the artwork), or Decline (with optional note for the reason of declining). The Brand Manager also has full control of editing the submitted file. They can make adjustments to quickly brand it to brand standards before returning with an Approval to reduce back-and-forth communications for minor amends.

Learn more about applying the Approval Workflow to your templates in this article.

5. ADD YOUR FRANCHISEES TO YOUR TEAM

Inviting your Franchisees to the team forms the last part of the process and the launch of your system.

Depending on which plan you have with Easil, this is either managed through the Team tab (for Easil Plus users), or via your Account Manager if you are an Easil Enterprise Account holder.

Once your team members have accepted the emailed invitation to join, they will have access to all Designs that have been promoted to ‘Team Templates’. Thus, it’s important to have the catalog ready for them to go before they are invited to join the team.

For Easil Plus teams, any team member with ‘Admin’ role applied to their Easil access can invite other users to the team:

  • Click on the ‘Team’ tab in the top navigation bar of Easil and then the ‘Invite Now’ button.
  • In the pop-up window, enter the Franchisee’s Full Name, Work Email and the Roles you like to apply. In general, ‘Member’ is the role that is applied for those users who are accessing templates for their own Franchise Marketing requirements only. Click on the ‘+’ to confirm the first invitee, and repeat if other users are to receive invitations at this time.
  • Click on the ‘Invite’ bottom at the bottom right corner.

Each Franchisee will receive their invitation by email, and be prompted to create a password to access Easil. Following logging in, they’ll be able to access the templates in the ‘Templates > Team’ navigation. If you have restricted access to viewing Easil templates, they will simply see your Team Templates only.

From here, each Franchisee will have access to begin editing templates as per your chosen workflow, and immediately free up your creative team resources. Ensure you notify your network of new template availability and upcoming promotions to assist with regular uptake:

Easil Enterprise client Vision Source notifies their franchisees of new artwork template availability via their LinkedIn page, and internal communications

Remember chess? Time to dust off your board and get playing on International Chess Day. This war strategy game as we know it originated in the 1400’s from even older Chinese, Indian and Persian games, chess has remained a staple board game, building problem solving skills, abstract reasoning abilities, strategy, logic and patience. Did you know that the longest game of chess lasted over 20 hours? A total of 269 moves between Ivan Nikolic and Goran Arsovic in 1989 – that’s no small feat.

LAMINGTON DAY

Lamingtons are iconic Australian culinary treats to have with tea. Squares of sponge cake coated with chocolate sauce and rolled in desiccated coconut. Delicious. Ironically, Baron Lamington who the cakes were named after, couldn’t stand them and referred to them as “those bloody poofy woolly biscuits”.

NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY

This fun holiday is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of July each year and so deserves to be in our July Content Calendar. The whole of July is ice-cream month too, so if you haven’t posted anything about this cooling dessert, then maybe the 21st of July is a good day to do so. Scoops of icecream on a dish or cone or in a sundae, there are so many choices about how to represent this day that has been celebrated since 1984. Enjoy!

22ND JULY:

SPOONERS (SPOONERISM) DAY

Spoonerism is named after nineteenth century Reverend William Archibald Spooner who was born on the July 22. He had the terrible habit with the ‘slip of his tongue’. A spoonerism is a verbal mistake where the constants of two word are swopped often to comedic effect. He famously said “The Lord is a shoving leopard” instead of “The Lord is a loving shepherd”. Have fun with some word play today.

NATIONAL TALK IN AN ELEVATOR DAY

The accepted norm for riding in an elevator with strangers is for everyone to stare at the floor numbers above as they change in silence. What would happen if you broke that silence? How do you know that there isn’t a potential business opportunity just waiting for you, if you just broke the silence? National Talk in an Elevator Day is about stepping out of your comfort zone and starting a conversation. It won’t be a long one. Probably only 90 seconds by the time one of you leaves. How about it? Share an image of people in an elevator and get the conversation going about chance meetings.

27TH JULY:

We’ll hand our 27th July Content Calendar entries over to Ellen for a fun introduction:

It’s Bagpipe Appreciation Day and National Take Your Pants for a Walk Day! Which, if you think about it, are strangely similar. – Ellen DeGeneres

BAGPIPE APPRECIATION DAY

The bagpipes may not be everyone’s cup of tea but, the Scottish Great Highland instrument played by men in kilts is very memorable.

The Scottish are not the only nation to play the bagpipe so you could find some fun facts about bagpipes to share on social media. The theme song from ‘Braveheart’ has bagpipes in it which are hauntingly beautiful. Alternatively, who can forget that Ross from ‘Friends’ wanted to play the bagpipes at Chandler and Monica’s Wedding. There are brilliant blooper videos and memes that you can share.

Hashtag to use #BagpipeAppreciationDay

NATIONAL WALK ON STILTS DAY

Stilt walkers are frequently associated with clowns, jugglers, and other similar acts. Despite this, many people are unaware of the extensive ceremonial and practical history of these props in numerous cultures. This year’s Walk on Stilts Day is a great time to learn more about this useful tool and try it out for yourself! Is it safe to say that you are prepared to join the many individuals from the beginning of time who have involved braces for work and play? Then it’s time to give stilts a shot! You can gradually raise the height of your stilts as you gain confidence. Living the high life!

Hashtag to use #NationalWalkOnStiltsDay

NATIONAL TAKE YOUR PANTS FOR A WALK

The idea of this day is to take your pants for a walk with you in them. Being outside in fresh air has health benefits. You could encourage people to go out for a walk on this day or your could be silly and find memes and videos of people literally walking their pants by dragging them along on a leash.

Did you know that in times of recession, cosmetic sales continue to thrive? It’s called the “lipstick effect”. The theory is that you will cut down on big-ticket items when times are tight, but still buy little luxuries for yourself. Lipstick has been used since Ancient Egyptian times. Cleopatra apparently used crushed beetles and ants to make her lips red. Luckily, we don’t have to resort to pulverizing insects now to have the perfect pout.

Ready to take your social posts to the next level with our June Content Calendar Ideas? Keep this article at the ready to prep your June content ahead of time with our easy-to-edit template ideas.

These monthly calendar posts come to you throughout the year on our Easil Blog. We review them annually so that you’re always set to go.

Daily, weekly and monthly post ideas are at your fingertips… 24/7. From national to international holidays (let’s call them celebration “days”) you’ll find loads of holidays in our June content calendar. You’ll never be stuck for ideas again!

As we say in Australia, this content calendar is “chockas” or FULL of content ideas and templates. You’ll also find some handy marketing tips inside to get you started. And if you love hashtags you’ll LOVE using our suggested hashtags for different events and celebrations.

HOT TIP: Some of our suggested holidays and celebrations below come with Easil templates. All you have to do is click into your Easil account and start designing. Don’t have an account yet? It’s really easy to set up an Easil account. Get started for free with one of our trial accounts.

What’s in our June Content Calendar:

  • There’s a day of Celebration for every day in June – sometimes more than one suggestion.
  • Choose the holiday you want to share, and convert it into social media posts or brand content.
  • Additional “Weird and Unusual” Holidays. Think wacky, weird and wonderful holidays. These are the holidays that make for fun posts. They’re also more likely to engage your audience.
  • Suggested Week-long holiday celebrations for June.
  • Suggested Month-long holiday celebrations for June.

Whether it’s Donut Day, Sunglasses Day or Superman Day, you’re ready to roll with our June Content Calendar. Oh and don’t forget the popular, official and well-loved holidays like Father’s Day (US) and World Sea Turtle Day, to remind your audience about when you create content.

TIPS FOR USING OUR JUNE CONTENT CALENDAR IDEAS

Let’s look at a few top tips and tricks for leveraging your June Content Calendar to get results:

  • Start by choosing the “days” or celebrations that your audience will relate to. Put yourself into the shoes of your ideal customer. What are they interested in, outside of your business or core topics of conversation? Do they love technology? Do they love being outdoors? Do they love eating at food trucks? Just because they signed up for your marketing tips or business-related content, doesn’t mean they don’t want to talk about sport or books or wine. Get creative with this using our weird and unusual holidays. After all, doesn’t posting about something like Donut Day make you more human and relatable? Everyone likes Donuts, right?
  • This is not an exhaustive list. It’s a big list, but not exhaustive. However, it will get you started. Use it as a starting point then search for extra celebration days of your own.
  • Double-check the entries. Our team checks and rechecks these posts, but you should always check the dates for yourself.
  • Add in your own regional holidays. Most of these entries are national and international, but posting local events is a great way to build community.
  • Some holiday dates move every year! Others don’t. For example, a day might fall on the 1st Sunday of every month such that the actual date changes every year. We try to catch these but may miss some. If you spot an error, please let us know so we can fix it. The goal is to update these posts annually or as required.
  • We can’t include holidays for every single country. Easil is based in Australia, but the holidays in this post are from around the world. Many of them are North American Holidays, as well as some Australian, some international holidays and other various countries.

ADDING IMAGES TO YOUR JUNE SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

You can use Easil’s June Content Calendar in many different ways. Start with one of our Easil templates to edit and create your own design. You can also upload your own photos or assets to create something unique and custom. You’re only limited by your creativity when designing an image for your audience.

HOT TIP: Post a quote that relates to the day in question – for example, you could quote some song lyrics for Beatles Day on June 25th.

Hint – you can come back into Easil to create images for your posts. See some of the suggested templates below to get you started:

Are you ready to create eye-catching social media posts with our May Content Calendar Ideas? Use this article to prep your May content and have it set to post ahead of time with Easil’s easily editable template ideas.

It’s time for another regular monthly content calendar post – coming at you throughout the year. We review these posts annually, to that you’re set to go each month.

Now you can access a full selection of daily, weekly and monthly posts. At your fingertips. 24/7. You’ll also find national and international holidays (we like to call them celebration “days”) throughout our May Content Calendar. Whatever your industry or business, there’ll be a few posts (if not a whole month’s worth) in here for you to use. You’ll never be stuck for ideas again!

TeamEasil has researched, checked and double checked loads of resources to create this May Content Calendar so it’s ready for you and your team. It’s (as we say in Australia) “chockas” full of content ideas and templates.

We’ve also added a few marketing tips to get you started. And if you love hashtags like we do, then you’ll see that we have added in hashtags too.

Bonus: Some of these image suggestions can be found in our Easil templates. All you have to do is click into your Easil account and get designing! Don’t have an account yet? It’s super simple to set up an account. When you open a trial account, you can get started for free!

What’s in our May Content Calendar:

  • We have a day of celebration for every day in May – often more than one suggestion. Choose the holiday that appeals to you most and convert it into content for your brand.
  • Additional “Unique and Unusual” Holidays. These are the wacky and weird (and wonderful) holidays that are awesome for fun posts – more likely to engage your audience.
  • Suggestions for Week-long holiday celebrations for May.
  • Suggestions for Month-long holiday celebrations for May.

Whether it’s Lei Day, World Turtle Day or Star Wars Day, you’re loaded and locked with content using our May Content Calendar. And don’t forget the popular and well-known days of celebration like May Day and the Easter holidays to remind your followers about!

TIPS FOR USING OUR MAY CONTENT CALENDAR IDEAS

Let’s look at a few top tips and tricks for leveraging your May Content Calendar for best results:

  • Firstly, choose the “days” or celebrations that most suit your audience. This is where you need to put yourself into the shoes of your ideal customer. What might they be interested in outside of your usual business or core topics of conversation? Perhaps they love technology but crave the outdoors. Maybe they love camping but a side characteristic of that is that they also love cooking. Just because they signed up to hear from you about social media tips and business doesn’t mean they are not a lover of red wine. Get creative with all of the unique or unusual holidays included in our May content calendar. The posts you’ll see in here might also make your business more relatable and “human” – especially if you get as excited about the 4th of May (Star Wars Day) as your customers do! Think about what they like and post about things they are likely to engage with.
  • This is by no means an exhaustive list. It’s impossible for us to list every single day of celebration for May, but this will get you started for sure! And you can always search for more/extra celebration days to add to this list.
  • Check the entries first. Our team double-checks the entries but we would still suggest that you check the dates for these holidays in your region or country too – you might find some new regional holidays when you do. Also note that some of the holidays stay the same every year, while others don’t. For example, a day of celebration might fall on the 1st Friday of the Month, so the actual date will change every year. So it’s always better to do a quick check before posting. And if you spot an error, please let us know so we can fix it. These are very dynamic posts, designed to be updated.
  • Not all countries are covered. Please note that Easil is based in Australia, but the holidays in this post are from around the world. Many of them are North American Holidays with some from Australia, some international holidays and others from various countries. Although we endeavour to have holidays from many areas, this post would be like a book if we included every country. But if you use the list as a base, you’ll be off and racing with ideas.
  • Hint Hint – you an always come back to Easil to create images for the content you decide to post. There are images and templates in this post to get you started.

ADDING IMAGES TO YOUR MAY SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

You can use our Easil May Content Calendar in may different ways. Start with one of our Easil templates to edit and create your own design. Or, upload your own photos or assets to create something unique and custom. You are only limited by your creativity when illustrating the day for your audience.

HOT TIP: Post a quote that relates to the day in question – for example, in May, you could post a quote from one of the Star Wars characters for May 4th (Star Wars Day).

Often when designing a social post, marketing piece, or document, you’ll want to place a photo in a shape such as a circle, so that its appearance is not just a boring old square or rectangle. One of the most popular and useful tools in Easil is the built-in image frames feature, or what we call, Shape Masks.

Easil’s shape masks allow you to drag any photographic image [or short-form video] into your frame, and the area of the photo that extends outside of that area will be masked, and thus, not visible in your design. Here are some examples of three types of shape masks in use (Flower shaped, Arch shaped, and Circular):

GETTING STARTED WITH USING SHAPE MASKS IN EASIL

Our full range of shape masks are available to all Easil users, free of charge – and on every plan! Here’s how you can use them in your own designs:

1. Search for a Shape Mask

With your design open in the Easil editor, head over to the right-sidebar, and click on the Graphics tab. Then select Shape Masks, from the second row. Scroll through the shapes, find one you like, click on it to add it to your design, or drag it to put it into place.

When viewing them in the sidebar, the area marked with the grid pattern, is the area that will contain your image. Once you place it on your design, it will appear as transparent green color. This green color, nor the grid, will be visible once you’ve worked through the next steps!

2. Position the Shape Mask on your Design

Click on the shape mask once it’s on the design, and use the corner handles to expand it to make it larger, or drag inwards to make it smaller. We recommend keeping it larger to start off with so that it’s easier to place your image into. You can always scale down the size of the mask afterward.

3. Drag and drop the image into the Shape Mask

To locate the image you want to add to your shape mask, click on the Images tab on the right sidebar. Locate your image from your My Images dropdown, or choose one from our image library.

Click on the image in the sidebar, and with a single drag, click and move the image onto the design canvas, and over the shape mask you have placed in the earlier step. You will feel the image ‘snap’ into the Shape Mask.

Alternatively, if you’d like to add a video to your shape mask, click on the Video tab in the sidebar, upload your short video (up to 60 seconds in MP4 format), and add that to your shape mask in the same manner!

4. Reposition the image within the mask

To edit the positioning or size of the image, double-click on the mask area. Use the control handles in the corner to extend the image size, and click and hold the image to reposition which part of the image will be visible through the shape.

Keep in mind, you cannot resize the image smaller than the mask itself. This means that images that are already cropped in tightly may not work ideally. It’s best to upload your images un-cropped into Easil so that you’ve always got the additional image space to work with.

5. Add Filters, re-arrange the order & More!

Once you’re happy with the position of your photograph within the mask, you can treat the mask in almost all of the same ways that you would with a regular graphic shape!

Click on the shape mask element, and on the top Actionbar you’ll find options for Adjusting Transparency, Rotation, Flipping, Changing the Order, Adding a Link (for PDF downloads only), and Duplicating the element.

If you double click on the element, you’ll also be able to flip the image within your shape mask, apply Filters, and access the crop tool.

In addition, you can also apply outlines, and shadows to your shape masks by using various settings within the Outline tool:

THE TOP RATED IMAGE FRAMES IN EASIL

We’re constantly adding graphics and templates to Easil. If you find anything missing or not yet available, send us a message and we’ll see if our creative team can add any missing masks to our range!

That being said, let’s jump into our currently most popular shape masks, and how you can find them to use in your own designs!

POLAROID / PHOTO FRAMES

Polaroid frames are a cool combination of a shaped image area, combined with a graphic area, which means that you can also adjust the color of the surrounding area.

To adjust the color area, place the mask on your design, and make sure you’ve selected it, by clicking on it. Then use the color picker at the top left of the screen to select a new color to apply!

Search: Polaroid in the Graphics tab (and select any of the results with the grid pattern showing) to add to your design or search for Polaroid in the Templates search field to start with a template already focussed on using these cool image frames!

ARCH SHAPE MASKS / IMAGE FRAMES

Using arch shapes of all proportions is one of our favorite current styles, and our Art Director, Kris predicted they’d be hot for 2021 in this article – and he wasn’t wrong!

To find them in the Easil library, click on the Graphics tab, and enter ‘Arch‘ in the search input field at the top. Then drag any of the results (with the grid pattern showing) onto your design to get started with it.

Hot tip: Arches are perfectly suited to use with curved text!

SCRIBBLE & PAINT BRUSH MASKS

Rough-edged, or paint effects shaped masks, are particularly effective for adding textures into. We love adding metallic gold, glitter, or silver into a brush-shaped mask and layering it under text or with other graphics within a design!

Search for ‘Paint’ in the graphics tab, and you’ll find a bunch of different options from brushed effects to rough-edged shapes. Remember, shape masks are the grey colored ones with the grid pattern on them.

TEXT MASKS – ANY FONT!

OK, so this isn’t really a shape mask, but it’s a feature you won’t want to miss in Easil. It’s our Text Masking tool, and it is next level, allowing you to use any font, to create an image mask!

This means that using a font that is made up of shapes (like a Dingbat font), you can turn any of those shapes, into a mask. Think about that for a second… it makes the possibilities for different shapes and looks for your designs.. endless!

Read more about using Text Masks here!

BONUS TIP! HOW TO CREATE AN IMAGE POPPING OUT OF A CIRCLE!

Now we’ve been through how to add images into Shapes, but what about if you want an image to pop out of a shape, like a circle? We’ve been asked for an easy way to do this so many times, so we have recorded a video with the easiest way to do this:

OVER TO YOU

So that’s it for our feature on creating masked images in Easil.

We hope you’re as excited about Image frames/shape masks – as we are when we create our Templates using them! And don’t forget, if there are shapes you would like to use but can’t find them yet – reach out, and our team will do their best to get them into place ASAP!

Are you ready to create engaging social media posts with our April Content Calendar Ideas?

Use this post to prep your April content and have it ready to go ahead of time with our easily editable template ideas.

We’re giving you regular monthly content calendar posts throughout the year. We’ll also review them annually so you’re good to go each month!

Now you can have a full selection of daily, weekly and monthly posts at your fingertips – we’ve also included national, international holidays or as we call them, celebration “days” throughout our April Content Calendar. No matter what your need, there’ll be a post or two for you to use. Never get stuck for ideas again!

We’ve researched and checked out loads of resources to round up this April Content Calendar ready for you. It’s full to the brim with content ideas and templates.

We’ve also thrown in some marketing tips to get you off and racing. Oh, and if you are a fan of hashtags, you’ll love our hashtag suggestions. If we can find a good hashtag we’ll always add it in, so you know which hashtags to use.

Bonus: Some of the image suggestions are actually Easil templates. This means that you can click through to your Easil account and start designing straight away! If you don’t have an account yet, it’s super simple to set up. Just open up a trial account and get started for free.

Overview of what we’ve included in our April Content Calendar:

  • There are celebrations for every day in April. In most cases, you’ll find that we’ve added more than one suggestion each day. Now you can choose the holiday that appeals to you most to convert into content!
  • Extra “Unique and Unusual” Holidays. These weird, wonderful and wacky holidays make for some fun (and usually engaging social media posts). Try adding at least some of these into your posts.
  • A series of Week-long holiday celebrations for April.
  • A list of Month-long holiday celebrations for April.

Whether it’s World Penguin Day, Chocolate Mousse Day or World Health Day, you’re sorted with our April Content Calendar. And of course we’ve included the super popular and well-known days of celebration like Anzac Day and Easter to remind your followers about!

TIPS FOR USING OUR APRIL CONTENT CALENDAR IDEAS

Here are our top tips and tricks for getting the most out of April Content Calendar:

  • Choose the days or celebrations that are in sync with your audience. Get into the minds of your audience and think about what your ideal customer might be interested in outside of your usual content categories. They might love technology but may also love to get outdoors and go screen-free! Just because they like hearing about social media tips and business doesn’t mean they don’t also love Beer or reading quotes by Winston Churchill. Get creative with the unusual and unique holidays we’ve included in our April content calendar. After all, these types of posts make you more relatable! You’re more human if you get excited about the idea of wearing your PJs or Onesie to work. Think like your ideal follower or customer and post about things they are likely to engage with. You’ll soon know if the “Day” in question is a good fit for your audience.
  • Remember this isn’t an exhaustive list. Or course we can’t list every single day of celebration for April. But it’s a super handy list that will get you started. We encourage you to search for more/extra celebration days to add to this list.
  • Check first. Despite double-checking all the entries, we’d suggest that you check the holidays for your region or country too. Some days of celebration stay the same every year, and others do not. For example, some of the days fall on the 1st Monday of the Month, so they’ll change each year. It’s always best to do a check yourself before posting. And it goes without saying, that if you spot an error, please let us know!
  • Check Instragram Hashtags. Although we aim to share hashtags that are not banned by Instagram, we recommend you check the status of a hashtag as it can change overnight. Use the tips in this post to check hashtags first. Instagram bans thousands of hashtags at any time (temporarily or indefinitely) usually because the hashtag or content posted under that hashtag violates Instagram’s Community Guidelines. Unfortunately this currently does include some “normal” hashtags like “Easter, Valentine’s Day, New Years” so avoid using these. Banned hashtags may change – so always check first.
  • Not all countries are covered. Although Easil is based in Australia, these holidays are from around the world, with many being North American Holidays. Although we endeavour to have holidays from many areas, it’s impossible to cater for every country. Use this list to get started and then research your local area or primary demographic to find more ideas. Hint Hint – you an always come back to Easil to create images for them!

ADDING IMAGES TO YOUR APRIL SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

You can use our April content calendar in may different ways. You can start with one of our Easil templates to edit and create your design. Or, you can use your own photos or assets to create something custom. You’re only limited by your creativity in terms of how you illustrate the day.

HOT TIP: Why not post a quote that relates to the day in question? For example, the 9th April provides a perfect opportunity for this, with Winston Churchill Day.

MONTH OF APRIL CONTENT CALENDAR IDEAS

The post Introducing Quick Input – A faster way to update text on templates appeared first on Easil.

]]>
In recent years, design applications have become focussed on drag-and-drop functionality, and we here at Easil love the method ourselves. But with many discussions with our user base and, in particular, the growing sector of users that simply need to access a team template and make simple text changes in a minute, we found the need for simplification.

As such, we’re excited to unveil our latest addition to our suite of DIY editing tools for teams. Say hello to ‘Quick Input,’ the feature that’s about to redefine the way you approach text replacement in your designs, and your team templates.

Why not just edit text on the design canvas?

Clicking and selecting text and editing on canvas seems simple enough. You select your text box, double-click, and enter your new content.

But what about when your design is complex? For example, if your design contains text on angles or if it is slightly layered behind graphic elements. Selection can become complicated, and you may inadvertently move a graphical element out of position, which can quickly turn your design into an unprofessional mess.

Further to that, the Easil team came across further concerns with users unable to differentiate between text content that was permitted to be updated and which text boxes were fully locked down.

Quick Input fields take care of all of these scenarios, as well as playing very nicely with another new feature in the application – Smart Fields.

How to set up team templates with Quick Inputs

Every time a text box is added to a design, it automatically creates an Input field that can be edited through access from the Quick Input tab in the right sidebar, next to Layers.

But where the feature really shines is when team templates with restrictions are setup to use the additional features to simplify further and show what text can be edited in a template – at a glance.

These features are available to team members with ‘Designer’ role applied:

  1. Edit Field Name
  2. Lock Text
  3. Re-arranging Quick Input Text Field Hierarchy
  4. Quickly access existing Smart Text Fields
  5. Update Collection Text (also available to team Members)

It’s important to note that Quick Input mode does not support rich text formatting. This means that a single text box that needs editing is best to contain one size font, one font family, one font color, etc. These types of editing options are still available on the canvas. Any text updated within a Quick Input field will remove formatting and take it down to a basic text format. In addition, text tables are not supported.

Let’s go through each of these features in detail:

Editing a Quick Input Field Name

Each text field created can have an optional title added to them which can be used to advise your team of the recommended – or mandatory – content that they should be placing in that field. Placeholder content does half the job, but when there are variables, you can detail them here. For example, Facebook handle, Instagram handle, or phone numbers for different divisions.

  1. Click on the Layers & Inputs tab, and then ‘Quick Input’.
  2. At the top right of each text box, click on the elipsis (…) and then ‘Edit Field Name’.
  3. In the modal that opens, type in the new title of that field, and then ‘Update’.
  4. Repeat for all other fields in your Design.

Tip: For the most efficient workflow, it’s best to set these field names before you complete any resizes. That way the Field Names will apply to any new sizes to add to the Collection, saving you setup time!

Locking a Quick Input Text Field

When you apply locking to a text field via the Quick Input tab interface (or via locking down all in the Locking tab), that text field is greyed out for the template Designer.

This indicates that the field will appear in the following manner for your team-mates with ‘Member’ role applied:

  • When a Member clicks on a design in Quick Input, they will only see text fields that they are permitted to edit (eg, unlocked), simplifying the interface for them.
  • Those same text fields remain visible on the design canvas, but are paired with a ‘fully locked’ icon.
  • Any Smart Text set to appear for them will auto-populate into the field, without the need for the user to manually input content.

This solves the issue of users not knowing what text they can or cannot edit, and having to click through text boxes throughout the design.

  1. Click on the Layers & Inputs tab, and then ‘Quick Input’.
  2. At the top right of each text box, click on the ellipsis (…) and then ‘Lock text’.
  3. This applies ‘all’ editing restrictions to the text box.

Tip: We recommend adding locking after completing your resizes, as you may need to reposition or edit text elements before locking them down.

Re-arranging Quick Input Text Field Hierarchy

To make things more logical for your team mates and the way they enter text, you can also re-arrange the order that the fields display in the tab, from top to bottom. By default, Easil will display these with text Layers that are at the top of your design at the top, and lowest layers displayed at the bottom.

Often when creating a design to be visually pleasing, these details do not align with how they would best be displayed for a user editing. With the ability to re-arrange on the Quick Input tab, but retain the order on your Layers tab, you can have the best of both worlds!

Click on the dots to the left side of the field to grab the field, and drag it up or down to it’s new position. It will be automatically saved on completion.

Quickly access existing Smart Text Fields

Each Quick Input field also provides the template Designer with a quick method for adding already created Smart Text Fields. By clicking within any field, you can type in the left curly bracket { and view the list and apply smart text within the field.

Smart Text fields provide each member of your team with dynamically generated content from their pre-filled data. For example, if you have a business card template with these fields, each would automatically update when the user opens the template with the matching fields:

{user.name}, {user.email}, {user.phone}, {user.website}

Each member adds their Smart Text field for setup within My Uploads > Smart Text.

Learn more about Smart Text here.

Update Collection Text with one click

The final update that comes with this feature launch is an enhancement to our popular ‘Update Collection’ feature, which was previously accessed via right-clicking after a text box had been updated.

With this improvement, any design collections* will provide the user with the ability to update each Text box within the Input tab field, or on canvas, and then hit the ‘Update Collection’ button at the bottom of the panel, and instantly update the text content to linked designs!

*Design Collections are required to be created using the resize method to provide the link between the designs, and the linked text boxes. Learn more about creating Collections in this article.

OVER TO YOU

That’s it for the wrap of this new feature, but be sure to read more about Smart Text and how it can work side-by-side with input mode, creating greater efficiency and accuracy for your team mates.

Are you ready to create engaging social media posts with our March Content Calendar Ideas? Use this article to get your March posts scheduled and ready to go ahead of time with our ready-to-use template ideas.

We’re rolling out monthly content calendar posts throughout the year and then will review them annually. Now you get to benefit from a current selection of daily, weekly and monthly posts – and we’ve included local, national, and international holidays or celebration “days” throughout our March Content Calendar. We’re thinking there’ll be a post or two for you to use, no matter what your type of business is!

Our team has done all the grunt work to get this March Content Calendar ready for you. It’s packed-to-the-brim with content ideas and templates as well as marketing tips to get you off and racing. And if you love hashtags, you’ll love our hashtag suggestions for most of the holidays.

And a special bonus is that some of the image suggestions are actually Easil templates, so you can click through and start designing if you have an Easil account (if you don’t, it’s super easy to set up and you can get started for Free).

Here’s a quick overview of what we’ve included in our March Content Calendar:

  • Celebrations for every day in March – in most cases we’ve added more than one suggestion for each “day”. This way you can choose which one appeals to you most!
  • Extra bonus “Unique and Unusual” Holidays… these are the weird, wonderful and wacky holidays that make for engaging social media posts!
  • Week-long holiday celebrations for March
  • Month-long holiday celebrations for March

Now it’s super easy for you to celebrate the fun and important international, national and local holidays throughout March with our March Content Calendar Ideas. Or go straight for one of our weird and wacky celebration days and you’ll get people talking!

Whether it’s International Women’s Day, National Napping Day, or Popcorn Lover’s Day, now there’s no excuse to post boring content with our March Content Calendar. And of course, we’ve included important not-to-be-missed days of celebration like St. Patricks’ Day to remind your followers about! Not that we would ever forget St. Patricks Day, hehe.

Tips for Using our March Content Calendar Ideas

Here are our top tips and tricks for getting the most out of the March Content Calendar:

  • Choose the holidays or celebrations that are in sync with your audience. Think about the topics or interests that your audience might be interested in that are outside of your usual content types. Your audience might be interested in climbing but would also be interested in other types of outdoor adventures or maybe camping. Just because they like business advice doesn’t mean they don’t also love Cocktails or reading books by J.R.R Tolkien (yes, these are days in March!). So get really creative with the unusual and unique holidays we’ve included in our March content calendar. These types of posts make you relatable to your audience. You’re more human if you get excited about “Awkward Moments Day”. Step into the mind of your ideal audience and post about things they are likely to engage with. If the day in question is a good fit for your “ brand voice”, post it. Easy!
  • Remember this is not an exhaustive list. We haven’t listed every single day of celebration for March. But it’s a comprehensive list that will get you started. Feel free to search for other types of celebration days to add to this list.
  • Check the Day before posting. Despite double-checking every entry, we’d suggest that you check the Day in your region or country. Some of these days don’t change every year, and others do. For example, some of the days fall on the 1st Monday of the Month etc. So, despite our best efforts to check the dates we may still miss something. We recommend that you do a quick check yourself before posting. If we’ve made an error in our Calendar, please let us know!
  • Check Instagram hashtags before posting. We aim to only share hashtags that haven’t been banned by Instagram. But we recommend that you use the tips in this post to check hashtags before you post. Over 100k hashtags are banned by Instagram at any time (temporarily or indefinitely), because the hashtag or content posted under that hashtag violates Instagram’s Community Guidelines. Unfortunately this also includes some “normal” hashtags like “Easter, Valentine’s Day, New Years”. They’re “banned” or removed when users post content that’s against Instagram’s guidelines. Banned hashtags may change, so it’s always best to double-check.

Adding Images to Your March Social Media Posts

You can use our March content calendar in many different ways. You can start with one of our Easil templates or you can use your own photos or assets to create a post about the day of celebration. You’re only limited by your creativity in terms of how you illustrate the day.

You can also post a quote that relates to the day in question. For example, the 2nd of March provides a perfect opportunity for this, with Dr Seuss Day!

National Grammar Day

Speeling and grammer is importent.
Now before you get all “WE DON’T NEED NO EDUCATION…”
Yes you do, you just used a double negative.

If you liked that one, here’s another double negative joke:

A linguistics professor was lecturing to his English class one day.

“In English,” he said, “A double negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative.”
A voice from the back of the room piped up, “Yeah, right.”

Share a grammar joke, common grammatical errors, things that erk you, or even things you get wrong sometimes, i.e. there/their/they’re. We’re all only human!

Check out sites like Merriam Webster on social media. They’ll be sure to post something punny! Schedule a “grammar” post from our March Content Calendar!
